Call for papers

The workshop is a forum for dealing with all aspects of comparative Germanic syntax, from both diachronic and synchronic perspectives. Reflecting the strengths of syntactic research at the University of Zurich, we are particularly keen to encourage submissions with a focus on non-standard varieties, (cross-)dialectal data and influences, microvariation, language contact, heritage languages, and multilingual language acquisition.

We invite submissions of anonymous abstracts for 30-minute talks including discussion. Submissions should not exceed two pages, 12pt. single spaced, with 2.5cm (= one-inch) margins on all sides.
