If you have registered for taking part in the warm-up, join us for drinks and/or dinner at the restaurant "Mishio” (within walking distance from the conference location and Zurich main station) . Warm-up starts at 18.30. But, of course, you can join us later as well. If the weather is nice, we are staying in the lovely patio behind the restaurant.

The Confernce Dinner will be held at the popular restaurant "Reithalle” in Zurich which is situated a 15-20 min. walk away from the conference location or a few stations by public transport. The building was earlier used as a stall building for horses and to some extent it still has the look of it. If the weather is nice, we can enjoy our dinner in the lovely garden.

Getting around in Zurich is easy: Many locations are within walking distance, and public transport is very good. So we recommend MOOD-Z attendees to rely on these two possibilities.
Please note: Most of the ticket machines only accept coin money or credit cards, not notes.

From the main station ("Zürich Hauptbahnhof”/Zürich HB”) the University of Zurich can be reached with trams No. 6 and 10 (to "ETH, Universitätsspital”). Walking is also possible and takes around 15 minutes, but half of the way is uphill (for those arriving with a suitcase).

Trains, buses and trams operate from 5 a.m. to 00:30 a.m. In the city standard intervals are 5 to 7 minutes on almost all lines. Quarters in the outskirts are still served at 7 to 15 minute intervals, including connections from and to the airport via train or tram.

For those of you who would like to stay for the weekend: There is an uninterrupted 24 hours night service on the weekends (additional one-time CHF 5 fare, intervals are 30-60 minutes).

Trips can also be planned conveniently using Google Maps or Mapsearch.

Prices for accomodation are high in Zurich but there are also a few options for budget travellers. The following list is an (incomplete) selection of hotels and hostels that are either close to the conference venue or (and) especially suitable for budget travellers.
